Owen's life revolves around screens, whether it's television screens, computer screens, or movie screens. He's a technology geek that gets excited with the latest high tech gadget but frustrated at how complicated and unreliable everything seems to be. Owen loves Hollywood gossip, computer stores, reality television, and chicken nuggets because they taste like chicken but don't make him think his food was ever alive.

Brie is Owen's younger sister and is clever, inquisitive, sarcastic and isn't afraid to tell people what's on her mind, which isn't always a good thing. She feels that since she is the younger sister, she has to continually prove herself to others; and she continually proves that she is smarter and more adventurous than her brother and friends. Brie enjoys reading, skydiving (or the thought of it), the Discovery Channel, and chocolate chip ice cream.

Rod is a pessimist in all matters not relating to himself, where he has such a high opinion of himself that he routinely refers to himself (in the third person) as "Hot Rod." He is a firm believer that everything in life is a competition, but unfortunately has a reputation as a poor loser and an even worse winner. Rod enjoys sports, video games, DVD special features, and red meat.

Rusty is a hypochondriac and a conspiracy theorist whodisproves the notion that too much information is always a good thing. He wishes he could "live for the moment" but his paranoid delusions about practically everything leave him in a continual state of panic. Rusty enjoys science fiction, internet chat rooms, Oliver Stone, and green tea.
